Anthem Sports & Entertainment, a global media company that operates across various platforms, has made an exciting announcement regarding its professional wrestling brand, IMPACT Wrestling.
The company revealed that IMPACT Wrestling will be returning to its iconic name, Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling, during its upcoming pay-per-view event called “Hard To Kill.”
This event, scheduled for 2024, will mark the first time TNA Wrestling originates from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The news was unveiled at the conclusion of the “Bound For Glory” pay-per-view, which took place in Chicago and was broadcasted live worldwide to a packed audience.
TNA Wrestling will kick off the new year with “Hard To Kill” on January 13.
Additionally, there will be a second night of action-packed professional wrestling known as the “Snake Eyes Extravaganza Show” on January 14, both of which will be held at The Palms. The “Snake Eyes Extravaganza Show” will be recorded and aired on the company’s flagship TV show, Impact!, which is broadcasted every Thursday night on AXS TV at 8 p.m. EST.
Scott D’Amore, the President of IMPACT Wrestling, expressed that the demand for TNA Wrestling has persisted over the years, with fans still chanting “TNA” wherever they go.
Therefore, in 2024, the company is bringing back TNA Wrestling to fulfill the fans’ wishes. Tickets for both “Hard To Kill” on January 13 and the “Snake Eyes Extravaganza Show” on January 14 will go on sale on Friday, November 4, through the official IMPACT Wrestling website.
Company officials have confirmed that the return of TNA Wrestling in 2024 will bring about significant changes. This includes a new look for the brand, from the entrance ramp to the turnbuckles in the ring, as well as larger and more prestigious venues.
Further details regarding the TNA Wrestling comeback will be disclosed on Tuesday, October 24, during an exclusive interview between Scott D’Amore and Tom Hannifan. The interview will be broadcasted live on IMPACT’s Facebook page at 12 noon EST and will feature questions from pro wrestling media across the globe.
TNA Wrestling was initially launched in the summer of 2002 and has gained a reputation for being the most innovative professional wrestling company worldwide.
