Revolutionizing Information Access: Zimbabwe’s ZivAi Chatbot Platform

Posted on

Zimbabweans have something to look forward to!

Zimbabwean serial entrepreneur Kuda Musasiwa and his team are set to launch a new chatbot platform powered by Open AI, which is set to revolutionize the way Zimbabweans access information.

The platform, named ZivAi, will be trained on the local Zimbabwean context, including the constitution, books, and general information.

One of the most exciting features of ZivAi is its high localization, which includes a local knowledge base that covers the Zimbabwean constitution, by-laws, and statutory instruments (SIs).

This makes it a perfect tool for anyone seeking to understand Zimbabwean law.

The platform will also include an integration feature that allows the processing of payments.

With integration with Ecocash, Visa, and Mastercard, locals will be able to shop with ease and make payments without any hassle.

Selected vendors will be onboard, which means that locals will have a wide range of options to choose from when shopping.

Version 1 of ZivAi according to Musasiwa will come with English voice prompts, making it easy to use for anyone fluent in English.

A public crowdfunding campaign will be launched, allowing locals to own a piece of the platform and invest in a project that will benefit them and their community in the long run.

Musasiwa also indicated on Twitter that plans are already in place for a Version 2 of ZivAi.

This version is set to include even more exciting features, such as integration with popular messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Twitter, and Facebook Messenger.

This will make ZivAi even more accessible to locals who prefer to use these platforms.

Wider vendor onboarding will also be available in version 2, enabling more Zimbabwean businesses to join the platform and offer their products and services to locals.

Other features that will be available in version 2 of ZivAi include price comparison, an open API for integration, money transfer, voice selection, and picture prompts.

Shona and Ndebele, the two most widely spoken local languages in Zimbabwe, will also be added to ZivAi, making it even more accessible to a wider audience.

The upcoming release of ZivAi is a welcome development for locals, particularly those who have been struggling with the limitations of the global ChatGPT 4.0.

ChatGPT was difficult to use as locals had to rely on global knowledge bases that were not tailored to their unique needs.

With ZivAi, locals will have access to a platform that has been specifically designed for them.

The platform has been trained on local Zimbabwean context, which means that it is more intuitive and natural to use.

Moreover, ZivAi is not just a chatbot platform; it is a community-driven project.

The team behind it is passionate about helping locals access information and is committed to developing a platform that is tailored to their unique needs.

The public crowdfunding campaign is a testament to this commitment, as it allows locals to own a piece of the platform and invest in a project that will benefit them and their communityin the long run.

At the moment, ZivAi version 1 is not yet available to the public. Interested users can join a waitlist to be notified once the platform is released.

Despite this, the excitement around ZivAi is palpable among locals who are eagerly anticipating its launch.

When it comes to fruition, the platform promises to revolutionize the way Zimbabweans access information.
