Megaplex has unveiled a bold rebrand, reinforcing its status as a premier entertainment destination where unforgettable moments come to life. This transformation, crafted in partnership with renowned branding agency Matchstic, aims to reignite the “mega” in Megaplex.
The refreshed visual identity captures the essence of the Megaplex experience, from the thrill of immersive movie screens to the simple delight of freshly popped popcorn. Meanwhile, the updated messaging elevates Megaplex beyond just a theater, portraying it as a place where extraordinary experiences become lasting memories.
“As we embarked on this journey, preserving Megaplex’s rich legacy was crucial,” said Ashley Havili, vice president of marketing. “We’re evolving while staying true to our roots, ensuring that future generations continue to enjoy larger-than-life experiences.”
Blake Howard, Matchstic’s co-founder and creative director, emphasized that the rebrand extends beyond aesthetics. “Megaplex is redefining itself as the ultimate third space—offering not just movies but also bowling, games, and an elevated dining experience.”
Megaplex is making significant investments in its theaters, introducing luxury recliners, exclusive box seating, “Quiet Rooms,” and a cutting-edge MegaScreen system featuring Dolby Atmos® sound. The brand’s first-ever entertainment center, set to open this year in Downtown Daybreak, will feature premium auditoriums, luxury bowling, diverse dining options, and private event spaces.
“Megaplex is committed to delivering larger-than-life memories,” said Britten Maughan, Megaplex president. “This transformation is more than a visual refresh—it’s a strategic evolution.”
With 76% of Americans ages 12-74 attending at least one movie in theaters last year, Megaplex remains a top 25 cinema circuit in North America.
