Nike’s After Dark Tour returns in 2025, aiming to ignite a global celebration of women’s running through a series of nighttime races in seven cities worldwide.
The 2025 tour will stop in Sydney, Shanghai, Seoul, Mumbai, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and for the first time in London.
More than a series of races, each event is positioned as a bold expression of women’s empowerment, athleticism, and community under the night sky.
The tour is set to begin in Sydney on April 12 and conclude in London on November 23.
Women of all fitness levels are invited to participate in either 10K or half-marathon distances, with each race designed to foster inclusivity, resilience, and a shared sense of achievement.
In a bid to support runners throughout their journey, Nike is offering holistic training support through the Nike Run Club App. Programs developed by Nike Run Coach Diljeet Taylor are available to help runners prepare effectively, stay motivated, and build confidence.
Participants will also receive access to exclusive gear, including a newly launched sweat proof, reflective necklace and a race medal reimagined by an all-women design team. The medal incorporates course elevation details and features a shoelace-inspired chain as a nod to Nike’s roots in running culture.
Each race weekend will double as a community celebration. Notably, the Mumbai event, scheduled for May 10, will start at the Gateway of India and end at SVP Stadium, which will host post-race festivities with music, food, and local vendors.
Digitally, the tour experience is being elevated by creative agency MOUTHWASH Studio.
The campaign features a bold, high-contrast visual identity, dynamic motion graphics, and an immersive website. A global map will allow participants to explore event details and connect with stories of inspiring female runners worldwide.
Nike describes the After Dark Tour 2025 as “more than a race,” positioning it as a global movement that unites women through sport.
The brand encourages participants to “lace up, own the night, and redefine empowerment—one stride at a time.”
