Vimbai Masamba, the founder of the popular accessories brand ViGlamz, has been named the Outstanding Woman in Business and Entrepreneurship of the Year Under 40 at the Megafest National Women’s Awards 2025.
This prestigious award recognizes her remarkable achievements and entrepreneurial spirit in the fashion industry.
The awards, an annual event hosted by Megafest Holdings, celebrate the excellence of women who are making a significant impact in the business world.
During the ceremony in Harare, Megafest board member Ivan Graig emphasized that the event serves as a platform to recognize “not only individual brilliance but also the collective spirit of women who are shaping industries, creating employment, building communities, and inspiring generations to come.”
ViGlamz specializes in unique, high-quality jewelry and accessories that are designed to help people express their identity and boost their confidence.
Masamba revealed that her passion for beauty and creativity was the driving force behind the creation of the brand.
“I started this business out of a passion for beauty, creativity, and helping people feel confident through style.”
“I saw a gap for affordable, unique accessories that make bold statements and reflect personal identity, and I wanted to fill it,” Masamba said.
One of the key factors contributing to the brand’s rapid growth has been its commitment to customers.
She believed that putting customers’ needs first and constantly evolving with new ideas are essential for success.
“Putting our customers first has contributed to growth because once we catered to their needs, they started coming for more,” she explained.
To stay ahead in the fast-paced world of fashion, Masamba closely monitors global trends, social media, and customer feedback.
“I keep a close eye on global fashion, social media, and customer feedback. I also follow seasonal forecasts and blend trending styles with timeless elements,” she noted.
This approach ensures that each ViGlamz piece is both on-trend and enduring, allowing customers to build a collection of accessories that tells a unique, personal story.
