The Brilliant Hungry Lion “One bite can change your taste buds” Advert ft William Last KRM

Posted on

Fast food ads typically stick to formulaic formats – colorful menus, smiling customers, catchy jingles. But one brand has broken the mold with a commercial so creatively executed and side-splittingly hilarious, it was destined for viral success. Hungry Lion, a leading quick service restaurant in Southern Africa, tapped Botswana comedy star William Last KRM for a promotional spot unlike any seen before in the industry. Over the course of just a few short minutes, William drags an unwilling customer into the realms of absurdist physical comedy, breaking boundaries of what is considered acceptable restaurant marketing. Now viewed over a million times online, this madcap masterpiece has proven there is still room for creative risk-taking when it comes to standout brand storytelling.

The collaboration between William Last KRM and Hungry Lion is a match made in advertising heaven. William, known for his exceptional comedic skills and infectious energy, brings a vibrant and engaging presence to the advert. .

The advert’s storyline revolves around William’s persuasive attempts to lure passersby into Hungry Lion. We see him standing outside a Hungry Lion restaurant, confidently convincing people to give the meals a try. Most individuals are easily swayed and agree to enter the restaurant. However, the advert takes an interesting turn when William encounters a stubborn guy who refuses to comply and flees from him.

In a comedic twist, William grabs a Hungry Lion meal and chases after the elusive guy. The guy is taken aback as he opens the door to his house, only to find William already inside. William holds a piece of chicken up to the guy’s mouth. Despite his initial surprise, the guy takes a bite and is immediately impressed by the mouthwatering flavor. Recognizing the superior taste, he eagerly grabs the rest of the chicken from William and expresses his gratitude.

The advert brilliantly captures the power of Hungry Lion’s food to win over even the most skeptical individuals. It showcases the transformative effect that a single bite can have on someone’s perception. The stubborn guy’s change of heart highlights the undeniable quality and taste of Hungry Lion’s meals.

The advert concludes with an emotional scene where the once stubborn guy returns to the Hungry Lion restaurant to make a purchase. William, visibly moved by the impact of the advert and the guy’s return, serves him with heartfelt appreciation. This final scene reinforces the advert’s message that Hungry Lion’s food has the ability to create memorable experiences and foster genuine connections.
