David and Victoria Beckham are at it again with the playful teasing! David Beckham is reminding fans that he and wife Victoria Beckham are set to appear in an upcoming Super Bowl commercial.
In a new teaser shared on social media, the famous couple recreates a funny moment from their Netflix documentary.
The video starts with Victoria sitting on the couch in her iconic “My dad had a Rolls-Royce” t-shirt. As she begins to speak to the camera, David pops his head in and says “Be honest, be honest.” Victoria reveals they will be starring in “a little commercial.”
David pushes her to give more details, prompting Victoria to admit “OK, it’s a big commercial.” When he asks when it will air, she struggles to remember the exact event. “The big baseball game,” she says, as David helpfully clarifies “The super big baseball game.” Victoria then jokingly suggests “Or was it the hockey bowl?”
Their playful back-and-forth continues as David mentions “Jessica Anniston” will also appear. Victoria goes along with the joke, stating “Jessica Anniston is gonna be in it too.” As David enthusiastically exclaims “We love Jessica,” the teaser ends with text promoting the Uber Eats Super Bowl spot.
Though the couple seems to mix up some key details, fans will see them in an advertisement during Super Bowl LVI on February 12th.
This commercial marks the second time David and Victoria have recreated their amusing moment from the documentary.
Their Netflix segment went viral for Victoria claiming her working class upbringing, despite her father owning a Rolls-Royce.
Capitalizing on the fame of that line, Victoria went on to design and sell a $150 t-shirt printed with “My dad had a Rolls-Royce.” The shirt sold out quickly, showcasing her ability to leverage pop culture moments.
Now, David and Victoria are tapping into their playful relationship again through this Uber Eats spot. While comically unsure of event details, their teaser successfully builds buzz around their upcoming Super Bowl debut.
Between Victoria’s fashion lines and David’s ongoing success, the power couple proves their enduring relevance in entertainment and business.
