Dolan, along with David Dibble, CEO of MSG Ventures, embarked on an ambitious mission to revolutionize the entertainment venue industry in Las Vegas.
After seven years of meticulous planning and execution, their visionary concept has materialized into a monumental success.

Described as a “new medium” by Dolan himself, the MSG Sphere offers an unparalleled immersive experience. Within its 516-foot-wide structure, a high-resolution LED screen, the largest on Earth, envelops half of the 17,600-seat audience.
Out of these seats, 10,000 are designed to provide an immersive experience enhanced by a specialized sound system capable of making guests “feel” sound vibrations. This remarkable sound system, comprising 1,586 loudspeaker modules, 167,000 speaker drivers, amplifiers, and processing channels, along with 300 mobile loudspeaker modules, delivers a crystal-clear and multi-layered audio experience.
While the interior of the MSG Sphere is awe-inspiring, its exterior is equally captivating. Adorned with 1.2 million hockey puck-sized LEDs, the surface can be programmed to create dynamic and colossal image displays.
From digital fireworks to images of the Earth or Moon, bouncing basketballs to mesmerizing art designs, the Sphere’s exterior has already caught the attention of tourists and air travelers alike.
The grand unveiling of the MSG Sphere took place on September 29, marking the beginning of U2’s 25-show residency.
Throughout the evening, attendees were immersed in a visual spectacle, with kaleidoscope imagery, a burning flag, and the iconic Las Vegas skyline transporting them on an epic musical journey.
The star-studded affair attracted numerous prominent entertainers and athletes, including Oprah Winfrey, LeBron James, Matt Damon, Andre Agassi, Ava DuVernay, Josh Duhamel, Jason Bateman, Jon Hamm, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and Orlando Bloom.
The residency tickets ranged from $400.21 to over $1495, reflecting the exclusivity and grandeur of the event.
Looking ahead, the MSG Sphere continues to captivate audiences as it prepares to present “Postcard from Earth,” a production directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Darren Aronofsky.
With Aronofsky expressing his anticipation and enthusiasm for the upcoming spectacle, it is evident that the Sphere’s mind-blowing screen and impeccable sound quality will deliver an awe-inspiring experience.
The advertising rates for the MSG Sphere not only provide access to a vast and engaged audience but also offer the opportunity to leverage the cutting-edge technology and immersive environment of this extraordinary venue.
With millions of daily impressions and the ability to collaborate with MSG’s talented team of designers, advertisers can unlock unprecedented creative possibilities and make a lasting impact on both in-person attendees and the vast social media audience.
The MSG Sphere stands as an advertising genius, offering a revolutionary platform for captivating audiences and delivering immersive experiences.
Its remarkable features, including the largest LED screen on Earth, a world-class sound system, and dynamic exterior displays, provide advertisers with an extraordinary canvas to showcase their brands and messages.
