Focus Brands rebrands, changes name to GoTo Foods

In a bold move to drive franchise growth and better reflect its evolution into a platform company, Atlanta-based Focus Brands has undergone a complete rebranding and emerged as GoTo Foods.

Over the past four years, this franchise group has been diligently pursuing business synergies, operational efficiencies, and enhanced profitability for its expansive network of over 6,700 stores worldwide.

Previously operating as a holding company with seven independently operated chains – Auntie Anne’s, Carvel, Cinnabon, Jamba, Moe’s Southwest Grill, McAlister’s Deli, and Schlotzsky’s – Focus Brands has now transitioned into a unified platform with seven distinct verticals.

This strategic shift has been centered around integrating supply chains, digital platforms, loyalty programs, and maximizing shared retail spaces.

To showcase this transformation and unleash future opportunities with both franchisees and consumers, the decision to adopt the name GoTo Foods was paramount.

This new identity embodies the strength, affection, and irresistible appeal of the group’s iconic brand portfolio.

It signifies a limitless vision deeply grounded in reality, harnessing the power of the platform company and opening doors to endless possibilities.

Jim Holthouser, the CEO of GoTo Foods, emphasized the significance of the rebranding, stating, “To convey and amplify the robustness and desirability of our seven iconic brands, it has become increasingly vital to have a name that resonates with franchisees and, ultimately, consumers.

GoTo Foods has made impressive strides, achieving double-digit year-over-year growth in adjusted EBITDA and loyalty acquisition in 2023.

This remarkable growth is evidenced by the addition of 4.6 million new loyalty members globally. Furthermore, the franchise group demonstrated its commitment to expansion by opening 398 new stores last year and securing over 1,150 franchise agreements across its esteemed brand portfolio.

With the rebranding complete and a clear vision for the future, GoTo Foods is poised to pave the way for multi-unit franchise success.

By leveraging its consolidated platform and capitalizing on the strengths of its individual brands, GoTo Foods is ready to create a new chapter marked by innovation, growth, and unparalleled customer satisfaction.
