Revolut, the fintech company, has undergone a significant global brand refresh, encompassing a complete redesign and layout overhaul.
The primary goal of Revolut’s new design, according to a company statement, is to simplify everyday money management for consumers.
Dubbed “Revolut 10,” the updated layout aims to serve as the ultimate digital companion, facilitating seamless sending, receiving, paying, splitting, saving, tracking, setting limits, investing, and donating.
This redesign follows Revolut’s achievement of surpassing 35 million customers worldwide, having announced 30 million customers on its platform in June of this year.
In Singapore, Revolut introduced stock trading, instant card transfers, and seven new currency accounts earlier in the year.
With an expanding suite of products and services, Revolut recognized the need for a new design that integrates all these offerings into a straightforward interface with clear hierarchy and minimal distractions. This is especially crucial for customers who rely on the app daily.
Revolut emphasized ease of accessibility as a priority for the new interface.
The latest version of the app empowers users to personalize their experience with simplified navigation, theme selection, widgets, and custom backgrounds.
Switching between accounts is now more streamlined and transparent, allowing users to easily track their different accounts.
Moreover, Revolut’s “Pockets” feature has been enhanced in the latest app update. “Pockets” function as sub-accounts where users can allocate funds for specific purposes, such as paying bills.
This feature is similar to the previously available “Vaults,” which allowed users to set money aside in separate spaces from their main account for specific spending purposes and financial organization. “Pockets” provides Revolut users with greater control over their finances, enabling them to budget, plan, and organize their money effectively.
Ivan Chalov, Revolut’s head of retail, explained that Revolut 10 was designed to offer customers a comprehensive overview of all their accounts and funds in one place, while also facilitating easy navigation through favorite features and products.
The updated and clearer design aims to help Revolut customers explore existing features and products that they may not have been aware of previously.
In recent news, Revolut partnered with Visa to launch an Out Of Home (OOH) advertising campaign across Singapore, aimed at promoting its recently introduced Instant Card Transfers service.
This service enables Revolut’s Singaporean customers to send money in real-time to eligible Mastercard and Visa cardholders in over 80 countries.
The Instant Card Transfers service utilizes the Mastercard Send and Visa Direct platforms, requiring customers’ names and 16-digit card numbers for transactions.
According to a spokesperson from Revolut, the OOH advertising campaign helps the brand become a part of the urban landscape, creating brand awareness and ensuring that consumers keep Revolut in mind when it comes to their financial needs.
